Cookie Policy
Last updated August 5th, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how The Ravenry uses cookies and similar technologies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device that let a website remember things between requests. Some are essential for a site to work; others are optional.
2. Essential cookies
These are required for the Service to work, so they are set without asking: a session cookie to keep you logged in, a short-lived cookie during two-factor sign-in, an age-confirmation cookie so you don't see the age gate on every visit, and a record of the cookie choice you make below so we don't ask again.
3. Analytics — only with your consent
We count page views so we can see which pages people read. This stores a random, per-tab id in your browser and sends it to us with the page address. It is not essential, so it only runs if you accept when asked. If you decline, nothing is stored and no page views are recorded for you.
This is our own analytics. We do not send your browsing to Google Analytics or any other analytics company.
4. Embedded content from other sites
Some pages embed media from other services — for example YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud and Instagram. When a page containing an embed loads, that service can set its own cookies and see that you viewed the page. We don't control those cookies; see that provider's own privacy and cookie policies.
5. What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
6. Changing your mind
Clearing this site's data in your browser settings makes us ask again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, but the Service may not work properly without the essential ones.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. Questions: jenny@jennyraven.com.
